Kindness
Every item is made with care and respect for the person receiving it.
Our story
Stitching Kindness began as a student-led crochet initiative in Los Angeles with a simple goal: use creativity and community to support babies, children, and families in need.
Hi! I'm Lola, a college student and the founder of Stitching Kindness.
I started this project because I wanted to combine my love of crocheting with meaningful community service. My goal is to bring together volunteers who enjoy making handmade items and connect those creations with local shelters that need them most.
Right now Stitching Kindness is just getting started, but I hope to grow it into a community where every stitch helps provide comfort, warmth, and kindness to children and families.
To create and donate handmade crochet items for babies, children, and families served by local shelters and community organizations.
To grow into a community of makers who respond to real shelter needs with thoughtful, safe, and beautiful handmade donations.
Every item is made with care and respect for the person receiving it.
We ask shelters what they need before making large batches.
We believe many hands can create more comfort than one person alone.
